Internet Marketing:
Attracting visitors to
your site............
Creating and uploading your site won,t guarantee visits.
If the search engines don`t know of its existence then it`ll be ignored.
We offer various online services, such as payperClick. PayPerClick
is where you pay to have a guaranteed place near the top of the listings,
and pay a small amount every time somebody clicks through and views your
site. Web sites that use this method to reach the top position of the
listings are sometimes referred to as 'sponsored sites/links'.
There are two major companies who provide payperClick accounts.
These are Google & Yahoo. The price determines how high up the listings
you appear- the more you pay. Also you can set the amount you wish to
pay by setting a monthly amount.
How Does it work:
To do this you must choose keywords which relate to your site (words which
people searching for your site may type into a search engine), erite totles
and descriptions for each key word.
Choosing Keywords:
For each PayPerClick account we will choose suitable keywords
for your website. The more relevant the words the higher your potential
ROI (returns on investment).
For example:
For a website for a UK based company selling saddles, potential
words may be:
saddles
saddles uk
stirrups
riding
riding products
At first glance, other words may seem appropriate:
horse riding eqiupment
riding eqiupment
equestrian
However, people searching on these terms may be looking
for any number of things, and therefore the account may be charged for
clicks that are unlikely or less likely to lead to sales.
Another reason for choosing the right highly targeted words is bid price.
Common, vague terms are generally more in demand than specific terms;
and therefore cost more. For example, 'saddles uk' may only cost 5p per
click in the first position, whereas 'equestrian' could cost £5
per click the first postion (please note that these are examples only),
so you could end up paying high premiums for uninterested visitors.
Creating Campaigns:
Once we have chosen your keywords we create campains for
each of them, which involves writing titles and short descriptions and
attaching the appropriate URL. Some providers have rules regarding this,
for example: that each keyword must feature in title. These titles, descriptions
and links will be what the searcher views, so we ensure that they are
accurate, clear and persuasive -and within the strict character limit.
Choosing a bid Price:
The bid price determines how high up the listings you appear
- the more you pay, the higher up the listings you will appear and the
more traffic you will get to your site.
Each time someone clickson your listing, you will pay your stated bid
price, which could be anything from 5p to £5.
For example: if you were paying 5p per click for a particular
keyword, for every 20 people that came to your site through that word,
you would pay £1.
Naturally we will optimise your bid prices to try to achieve
the most clicks and highest rankings for the least expenditure.
Free exposure:
A bonus of PayPerClick advertising is that by being higher
up the listings, your company name may be viewed by many people who don`t
immediately click through - giving you exposure for free.
